Einav Tsengauker revealed her political intentions yesterday, in her first interview with Ofira Assayeg on Keshet 12, and said that she is seriously considering running for politics.

""It can be stated that Einav Tsengauker ran for politics," she said during the interview.

She added: "This is one of my insights from the last two years, the country can only be fixed by us, the citizens. I am considering everything and will think about exactly which format is most appropriate for me to run in.".

To the question "Who suggested you run? I assume the Likud didn't contact you" - she replied: "Ofira, you'd be surprised, everyone is contacting me. What we lack in Israeli society is ethical, moral leadership that cares about ordinary citizens. I'm not as naive as I was on October 7th, I know how to identify interests, but I'm not ruling out anything, the Likud is an option. There are things to check first, everything needs to be done in a considered and responsible manner.".

The Likud said: "The prime minister or anyone on his behalf has not approached and does not intend to approach Einav Tsengaukar to join the Likud. We wish her success and health, for her and her son.".
