
After a summer day, everything turns upside down: Starting tonight (Friday night), we will feel a change in the weather, towards the end of a stormy weekend, when in the second part of the night it will begin to rain intermittently, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms - first in the north of the country, and later the rain will spread to the center of the country and the northern Negev.
Early this morning, there is a risk of flooding in the rivers of the Judean Desert and the Dead Sea. High waves are also expected, especially in the depths of the sea.
Friday will be a windy day with strong winds, with speeds of 50-60 km/h from noon, and gusts of wind may reach speeds of 80-100 km/h.
A break in the rain is expected in the late morning hours and the sun will occasionally come out, but towards noon there is a danger of wind damage, such as collapsing trees and objects flying through the air, and the rain will continue to fall occasionally accompanied by thunder, lightning, and hail.
According to the Meteorological Service forecast, with the arrival of Shabbat and the night, the rain will decrease and stop.
On Saturday, we will feel a slight increase in temperatures, and no rain is expected for most of the day. It is expected to return in the afternoon hours in the northern region.
On Sunday, there will be a slight increase in temperatures and the weather is expected to be comfortable, with rain expected in the north.
The rain will return again in the second half of Monday. Starting Tuesday, more wintery weather is expected.
