The police hotline received a report last night (Tuesday) about illegal residents in the courtyard of a residential building on Rabbi Matzliach Street in Bnei Brak.
Police officers and inspectors from the Bnei Brak Municipal Policing Unit arrived at the scene and located two illegal residents in the building's courtyard - ages 42 and 21.
The police later located the suspect who had ambushed them, a 55-year-old resident of Bnei Brak.

The three suspects were arrested and brought for questioning at the police station.
At the end of the investigation, they were imprisoned, and this morning they will be brought to trial at the Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court.
