The indictment filed by attorneys Shlomit Malko and Einat Balanro of the Southern District Attorney's Office indicates that the defendant and his wife have dozens of granddaughters and grandsons.
While the granddaughters were staying at the defendant's and their grandmother's house, the defendant would take advantage of every opportunity he had to be near the minors, even if other family members were present in the area, and commit serious crimes against them.
He abused some of his granddaughters a few times, while he abused one of his granddaughters for seven years - starting when she was 8 years old.
The defendant was charged with multiple serious domestic offenses - rape, attempted rape, and an indecent act.
At the same time, the prosecution filed a request for the defendant's detention until the end of the proceedings. The case was investigated by the Ashdod Police Station, in cooperation with the Ashkelon Linn Center.
