This evening (Saturday night), a terrorist threw an iron bar at an Israeli car traveling on the main Highway 5, between the Shaar Shomron interchange and the Gitti Avishar intersection.
The pole was stuck in the windshield of the vehicle, very close to the driver's seat - but miraculously, the driver who was in the vehicle was not physically harmed.
She was evacuated by rescue forces called to the scene, and was described as suffering from anxiety.
IDF forces entered the nearby Palestinian village to capture the terrorist.
The hunt for him continues.
An IDF spokesman said:
IDF forces rushed to the A-Zawiya area in the Ephraim Brigade following a report of a terrorist throwing an iron bar at a vehicle traveling in the area. No injuries, but damage to the vehicle.
The IDF and Shin Bet are conducting searches and interrogating suspects in the area in order to locate the terrorist.
