An indictment was filed this week in the Haifa District Court against two Araba residents - aged 25 and 26 - for possession of a weapon.
The arrest was made about a month ago, when Northern District forces raided a compound in the city of Araba, arrested the two suspects, and in a search of the vehicle in which one of them was sitting, they located a bag containing an FN pistol and ammunition.
During the days of investigation, investigators came across videos in which one of the defendants was seen holding a weapon above his infant son's head, while talking to his son - and later stepping on the weapon above his head.
In another recording, the same defendant is seen shooting in an open area, while filming himself.
As the investigation progressed, investigators discovered that the second suspect arrested on the day the weapon was seized was the one who lent the weapon to the defendant, and that on the day of the arrest, the two met with the aim of returning the weapon "to its owner.".
A few days ago, upon completion of the investigation phase, indictments were filed against the two, through the Haifa District Attorney's Office, along with a request to detain them until the end of the proceedings and a request to confiscate two vehicles in which the defendants transported the weapons.
