Gali Steiner-Goldgerber, a former lawyer and close friend of Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi, held a conversation today (Wednesday) with the 'Sheva' program on Channel 14, during which she attacked in particularly harsh language.

According to her, around the Yemeni Field affair, unreasonable pressure was exerted on the former MP. "I feel that a country run by the same mafia gang exerted unrestrained pressure on her - like they do here to anyone who does not worship the ruler," she said.

Steiner-Goldgraber, who previously served in the military prosecutor's office, described the conduct towards her friend as "a country that operates using mafia methods," and added: "We are all in danger, no one is protected. There is an atmosphere of fear. Even people we know to be professional and good are acting out of fear.".

During the conversation, Steiner-Goldgerber expressed deep shock at the personal price Tomer-Yerushalmi paid following the forced resignation: "She is broken to pieces, she is devastated. The system did not back her up, they simply took her and killed her. I am ashamed, I am angry, and I am shocked by the situation we have found ourselves in.".
