Rescuers Aryeh Slushatz and Avi Boyar: "When we arrived at the scene with an MDA ambulance that we were manning, we found a 3-year-old boy suffering from a head injury, after falling from a height of about 3 meters on the steps of the synagogue.
""Together with rescue and MDA medics and paramedics, we provided him with initial medical treatment, including immobilization and dressings, and we connected him to an intensive care unit that evacuated him in moderate condition to continue receiving medical treatment in the trauma room at Rambam Hospital in Haifa.""
