
A 15-year-old boy fell this afternoon (Friday) from a height of about 6 stories on Rabbi Elazar Street in Beit Shemesh.
Rescue forces called to the scene provided him with initial medical aid, after which he was taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem, in serious condition, with multiple systemic injuries.
Akiva Glendauer and Yosef Trisman, United Hatzalah paramedics: "According to passersby - the child fell from a height of several stories. We gave him medical treatment at the scene and then he was taken to the hospital suffering from injuries to his head and limbs - his condition is currently classified as serious.".
MDA emergency medical paramedics Elia Binyamin and Kobi Lizarovich said: "We received a report of a child who fell from a great height in a residential building. We arrived at the scene and saw a boy lying unconscious near the building, with multiple systemic injuries, and a civilian was performing life-saving operations on him at the MDA 101 hotline briefing. We continued medical treatment while loading him into an MDA ambulance and urgently evacuated him to the trauma room at the hospital.".
The police said: Police officers at the Beit Shemesh station in the Jerusalem district have begun investigating the circumstances of a fall from a height by a 15-year-old boy in Beit Shemesh.
