Hundreds of Haredi orphans, Bar and Bat Mitzvah brides and grooms from the Haredi community celebrated the age of the mitzvot, in separate events on the purity of the Holy Land, initiated by the National Insurance Institute and traditionally produced by 'Chesed Menachem Mendel' - the educational division of the Chabad Kollel.
The children of the mitzvot came with all their families: grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters – to participate in a fun, stormy and overwhelming, exciting and unique festive day.
The activity was hosted in the new park, "Magic Castle" - an indoor amusement park, resembling a giant multi-story spaceship, located in the heart of the 'Mishor Adumim' industrial park, and the activity was specially tailored for the Torah and mitzvot-observant public, with very detailed content for all parts of the family throughout a whole day of fun and enjoyment.
Thousands of family members came in organized transportation from all over the country and joined in the festive day. The National Insurance Institute's rehabilitation teams warmly and attentively hosted those who came, with each mitzvah groom and mitzvah bride being given a personal gift - and parents and family members were given the opportunity to hear about the activities of the rehabilitation departments that assist families who have experienced loss and bereavement throughout the year, in a variety of areas that allow them to look forward with hope and find relief from the terrible pain.
The Mitzvah-Land complex was dressed for the occasion. Performances, exhibitions, workshops were incorporated into its rich content. In the heart of the complex, a huge workshop complex was established where the children enjoyed content and creative activities. Another huge complex offered a rich, unlimited meal throughout the day.
During the event, participants enjoyed a lively Hasidic performance with Moti Goldman and Eliran Elbaz, along with Shaya Barim. In the midst of the event, the acting director general of the National Insurance Institute, Zvi Cohen, spoke, emphasizing the importance of the event, which is intended entirely for the Haredi public.
""We are filled with feelings of joy and gratitude for the privilege of joining such a joyful and moving initiative, which gives strength and joy to these precious families," said Chabad Kollel Chairman Rabbi Shalom Duchman. "We gladly accept any challenge that can add light, strength and abundance of goodness to every family and every boy and girl, especially those who unfortunately experienced the family tragedy of the loss of a parent.".
""From our experience over decades, events and initiatives of this type provide strength and spiritual empowerment, good and strengthening memories, which will accompany and strengthen the participants for a long time to come," concluded Rabbi Duchman.
