What happens when a successful wedding orchestra records the famous tune of "Tzemach Tzedek," performed vocally - without musical instruments, in a stunning beatbox arrangement?

The Armon-Yah band is made up of graduates of the yeshiva in Paduel, friends in heart and soul since their youth. The meaning of the band's name 'Armon-Yah' comes from the kissim of the Third Temple: Armon Ha-Hashem.

The band is successful in the wedding world and is famous mainly for its special arrangements. Its musical resume includes the album "Hear Me," which contains twenty tracks, most of which are from the world of weddings, and the hit "Nekdishach," an original single "Korob Medimid," and the vocal single "Kol Shavreich," which received great exposure.

The melody of "Tzemach Tzedek" has conquered every possible stage and crossed all circles in the past year. The Armon-Yah band, which has performed the song countless times, is releasing a special vocal version of the melody, in a special arrangement, incorporating beatboxing, on the occasion of the counting of the Omer.

""Taking down the live instruments and using what the halakhah permits us is challenging. We are not a vocal band and it's kind of a twist that a wedding band does vocally," says Yaakov Asraf, the band's director, about the challenging work.

The song was recorded in the home studio 'Solam Yaakov', which made working on the single an amazing experience of togetherness.

A music video was shot for the song in the spirit of the period, with the aim of conveying a message of kindness, giving, and correction for the days of reckoning and showing respect for each other - and essentially conveying the group's point of view, with all the actors in the video being members of the band.
