Itzik Buntzel, the father of the paratrooper Amit Yad who fell in the Gaza Strip and a member of the board of the Heroism Forum, wants to stop the congratulations to US President Donald Trump - and emphasizes that the agreement to release the hostages came about thanks to the heroism of the Yad soldiers, who gave their lives for this cause.
In a message he published, Bunzel said: "Together with you, we heard the good news about the return of the kidnapped, those who are alive and those who are not alive, in the coming days.
""At the same time, we hear the praise and adoration that everyone is spreading for the President of the United States, Donald Trump. We would like to remind you, everyone - nothing is happening here because of Donald Trump.".
He said, "Everything you see, and what will happen in the coming days, is only thanks to our heroic sons and daughters who sacrificed their lives for these moments. Those sons and daughters who set out with a purpose to return the kidnapped.".
""Enough with this unnecessary confession to the President of the United States. Let us pause and bow our heads, share in our sorrow, and thank the sons and daughters who gave their lives for the return of the kidnapped.".
