A 42-year-old man was found in critical condition at noon (Friday) after apparently being stung by a wasp in the Ein Keshetot area near Moshav Nator in the Golan Heights - and died in the hospital.
MDA medics and paramedics located him suffering from an allergic reaction, and evacuated him to Poriya Hospital near Tiberias, while performing CPR.
Sadly, despite the efforts of the medical teams, they were forced to declare him dead.
MDA paramedic Yaniv Anzel said: "When we arrived, we noticed a man lying on the floor, without a pulse and not breathing. We were told that he had been stung by a wasp and his condition had deteriorated.
""We immediately began performing advanced CPR and he was taken to the hospital in critical condition.".
Israel Police volunteers from the Golan Rescue Unit, in cooperation with the Air Force helicopter with Team 669 and the MDA team, rescued the man.
Due to his condition, rescuers launched a helicopter that evacuated him while performing CPR to Poriya Hospital.
