The confrontation began when Ahmed Tibi claimed that Israel's actions could not be explained because there were "stupid MKs." Vaturi, who was chairing the meeting, became furious with Tibi and told him that he had violated the law that states that MKs must be spoken to with respect.
MK Ahmed Tibi: "What kind of propaganda and what kind of whitewash, Israel did not fail because there is no propaganda.".
MK Tali Gottlieb: "Supports terrorism.".
MK Ahmed Tibi: "I don't hear from the left, there are Knesset members who suffer from a level of stupidity and injustice.".
MK Nissim Vaturi: "You will apologize - I strongly oppose your thesis, but I never called you an idiot.".
