Will he save the Big Apple from communist madness? In order to prevent the victory of anti-Israeli candidate Zoharn Mamedani, New York Mayor Eric Adams withdrew from the mayoral race this evening (Sunday).

Adams responded to the many calls for his resignation, including from the White House, in order to unite the ranks against the anti-Israel candidate.

""It has been an honor to be your mayor," Adams said in a video message. "I know I cannot continue my campaign. I strongly encourage anyone who ever takes over City Hall to continue what we have done.".

Adams did not endorse any of his opponents. Instead, he issued warnings against Mamdani and Cuomo, cautioned voters against "radical ideals" — and criticized politicians who change positions for political gain.

""This is the end of my campaign, this will not be the end of my public service," he pledged. "I will continue to fight for our city no matter what, because I am a New Yorker.".

Adams found himself last in the polls behind Mamedani, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, and Republican candidate Curtis Saliba.
