Architect Dan Keenan: "Jerusalem is becoming a smart and connected city""
In his lecture, Architect Keinan presented the new vision for urban planning in Jerusalem: mass transit, mixed-use development, and large-scale urban renewal. According to him, the city is already advancing the addition of approximately 69,000 housing units in urban renewal plans – of which 23,000 have been approved.
""Jerusalem is a model for many cities in Israel and around the world, thanks to innovative, flexible, and responsible planning. Entrepreneurs are full partners in success, and we are open and attentive throughout," said Keenan.
Attorney Avi Portman: "Jerusalem is the most interesting playground"
Forten pointed out the importance of shortening the licensing processes and the need to reduce the bureaucratic burden placed on entrepreneurs: "The real revolution will come when we accelerate the receipt of permits and allow planning flexibility. The regulations must be adapted to the changing urban reality, including building lines, building rights, and additional areas for municipal authorities.""
