The Ra'am party is demanding from the Arab parties a technical list that will split after the elections, but the other party leaders refuse.

According to a report today (Thursday) on Channel 2, at the last meeting between the party leaders, Ra'am Chairman Mansour Abbas demanded that the parties accept the approach of his party, which sees itself as a potential partner in the future coalition - and that they moderate their statements on Palestinian issues.

Alternatively, Abbas suggested that it be agreed that the list is only technical and will split after the upcoming elections.

However, the three heads of the other parties - Hadash, Ta'al, and Balad - refused the conditions set by Abbas, making it clear that they wanted a list that would also work together in the next Knesset.

The IDF responded that under these conditions there was no point in moving forward with the talks.

Since then, contacts have not resumed, and no further meetings of the party leaders are expected this month.
