The State Attorney's Office filed an indictment today (Tuesday) with the Central District Court in Lod against Yitzhak Frankel, 19, from the Haredi city of Modi'in Illit, who brutally attacked a 14-year-old boy and committed serious crimes against him, while threatening him with a knife and a gun, at a public pool in the settlement of Matityahu.
The indictment accuses the defendant of committing the offenses of rape of a minor under aggravated circumstances, indecent acts against a minor, assault causing actual bodily harm, and more.
The indictment filed by Attorney Dudi Inbar of the Central District Attorney's Office states that at the end of August, at noon, the defendant entered the locker rooms where the boy was at the pool and offered to change into the cells under the pretext that his cell had hot water while the water in the boy's cell was cold.
The boy agreed to be changed, but the defendant did not leave his cell, but closed the curtain, grabbed the boy and began to brutally abuse him. He held a knife to his neck, injured him and committed serious crimes against him. While committing the acts, the defendant showed the boy a gun and bullets and threatened him that it was a real gun so that he would not scream. He also threatened to cut off a limb from his body.

The resourceful boy managed to escape from the locker rooms and called the police. The defendant managed to escape from the pool and was caught near his house.
The indictment also states that several months before the incident, the defendant entered the locker room where the boy was bathing, committed serious acts against him, and bit him on the neck.
Given his great danger, and the fact that he attacked a random boy, in broad daylight, in a public place, the prosecution requested that the defendant be detained until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
