Sergeant S., a squad commander in the ultra-Orthodox Hasmonean Brigade, today (Monday) took part in neutralizing the terrorists who carried out the shooting attack at the Ramot Junction in Jerusalem - in which 6 Jews were murdered.
He recalled the moments of the difficult event: "I was at the station at the Ramot intersection where the attack took place. I heard gunshots, saw the people fleeing, and I realized that we had to strive for contact.
""I got off the bus, opened fire on the terrorists, along with civilians who were there, until they were finally neutralized, and from there we moved forward to help treat the wounded. I'm glad I got to do that,",
The commander who neutralized the terrorist serves as a squad commander in the Hasmonaean Brigade, the first Haredi brigade in the IDF - which is currently failing to recruit Haredi members.
