Brigadier General (res.) Guy Hazut, who serves as head of the IDF Ground Force Learning Center, was reprimanded by the commander of the Ground Force, Maj. Gen. Nadav Lotan, following an internal document stating that the "Gideon Chariots" plan had failed.
The investigation was conducted last night, during which Major General Lotan told the witness: "I am not willing to accept this behavior, because you are speaking on behalf of the IDF.".
The IDF emphasized that while expressing criticism is legitimate, officials are obligated to express their positions only within an internal framework.
Hazut, according to the IDF, deeply apologized to Lotan for the "damage caused.".
The apology was accepted and Hazot will continue his service at the learning center.
