In the 'War Zone' studio on Channel 13, hosted by Raviv Drucker, Dorit Sarid, widow of the late Yossi Sarid, head of the Meretz party and one of the leaders of the left-wing camp in Israel and who served as Minister of Education in the Ehud Barak government, was a guest this evening (Tuesday).
During the interview, panelist Sheri Roth asked to "say a word.".
Shari Roth: Can I say something in favor of Yossi Sarid? I have a duty of gratitude when I see you here. My father was the director of Talmud Torah in Kiryat Ata for many years. A Jew, with an beard, chairman of Degel Hatorah in Kiryat Ata, a hardcore Haredi. Her husband Yossi, may his memory be blessed, was the Minister of Education. My father would tell me until the day he died: 'Yossi was the best Minister of Education I ever had.' He built them a new building... Yossi saw the children, Haredi and secular, without discrimination.".
It was obvious that the widow Dorit was excited.
