Towards the start of the school year: The management team and educators of Talmud Torah 'Torat Emet' in Bnei Brak entered the home of the yeshiva's head, the Gramacz Bergman, to receive guidance and instruction.
This was as part of a 'seminar' held for the veteran TAT team.
At the beginning of his speech, the Rosh Yeshiva said: "What I want to tell you are simple things. A few words. After all, we are speaking here before scholars of Torah.".
""Before we talk about education, we need to know what it means and what responsibility lies with those who educate the children of Israel. I always tend to mention the words of the Vilna Gaon, who says that all the Ten Commandments are alluded to in the parshas of 'Keriat Shema,' and the saying 'Thou shalt not murder' is alluded to in the words 'And you shall teach it to your children.'".
""Because whoever doesn't teach correctly and whoever doesn't educate properly is literally murder, may God have mercy on him. And these are terrible things. Every educator has to live this. After all, 'and you memorized them for your children' - these are the students. You have a great responsibility. This is the first thing.".
At the end of the speech, the head of the yeshiva said: "If God praises Himself for teaching Torah to His people Israel, then it is impossible to find a greater title.".
