The struggle for Jewish identity in Tel Aviv: The Hotam organization placed a sign on the Tel Aviv City Hall, following Mayor Ron Huldai's attempt to take control of the city's synagogues.

The sign reads: "Enough anti-Semitism in Tel Aviv, in Tel Aviv we preserve tradition.".

In "Hotam" they say that they will not allow Huldai to impose his progressive agendas on the religious and traditional public in the city.

The Hotam organization stated: "Tel Aviv will not be Iran, where a government representative supervises the conduct of prayers in synagogues. The State of Israel is a Jewish state, freedom of worship in synagogues will be maintained - even in the city of Tel Aviv.".

""The city of Tel Aviv will not become a progressive extraterritoriality. Tel Aviv has been an integral part of the Jewish state since its founding more than a century ago, when Mayor Dizengoff preserved the city's Jewish character.".
