Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has sent a message to his political partners in the past 24 hours, stating that "the Prime Minister will not break up the bloc for Gantz.".

According to a report this evening (Sunday) in 'Kan News', concern has grown in the coalition that Benny Gantz may join the government at the expense of the bloc's parties, as part of a political move that will allow Netanyahu to crawl to a surrender agreement with Hamas.

Alongside the concern, there was no official response to Gantz's proposals, who announced at a press conference his initiative to form a broad government for the purpose of "redeeming prisoners and conscription for all.".

Netanyahu did not publicly comment on the proposal. . However, sources in Gantz's party claimed that they had spoken with "members of the Likud party" who showed willingness to make the move.

Gantz turned to three central figures in an attempt to promote the move he announced: Prime Minister Netanyahu, opposition leader Lapid, and Yisrael Beiteinu leader Avigdor Lieberman.

However, there was no direct conversation between him and Netanyahu. Lieberman filtered the phone call between Gantz and Lapid - despite a polite conversation, he rejected Gantz's offer.

This morning, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir called on the heads of the coalition factions to make it clear that MK Benny Gantz will not enter the government.

""I expect all the heads of the coalition factions to make it clear unequivocally: He will not enter the government. We achieved achievements without Gantz in Iran, we achieved achievements without Gantz in Hezbollah, we achieved achievements in all kinds of sectors. And if we want to achieve an achievement in Gaza - Benny Gantz must not enter the government.".
