Left-wing activists attacked National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir this morning (Saturday) with derogatory chants, while the minister was on his way to the synagogue in Kfar Melal - where he was celebrating Shabbat with his family.

The demonstrators shouted at Ben Gvir and his family, including his soldier son Shuval and his young children: "Shame," "You are not Jewish," "Criminal," and "Killer of Kidnappers.".

The minister pointed to his son and replied to them: "He is watching over you, you evasive people. Shame and disgrace.".

As the Sabbath ended, the Minister of National Security responded to the attack: "On Sabbath, I stayed with my family in Kfar Malal with a wonderful family. In the morning, I left wrapped in a tallit on my way to prayer at the synagogue, along with my son, who returned from the patrol to be with us on Sabbath.

""Suddenly, a group of violent and dangerous anarchists gathered around us, with cell phones and cameras on Shabbat, shouting insults at us like: 'Terrorists, racists, kidnappers' murderers.'".

""Shame and disgrace to a fighter in the patrol who hears curses and insults from a handful of dodgers, shame and disgrace that they put a stop to the Sabbath - they would have been considerate of Muslims - and shame and disgrace for the style and disgust, but they will continue to shout, I will continue to do for the people of Israel and Shoval will continue in the patrol for everyone!""
