A six-year-old girl, a pedestrian, was seriously injured last night (Monday) when she was hit by a bus on Abba Shaul Street in the Haredi city of Beitar Illit.
Rescue forces called to the scene provided her with initial medical treatment and evacuated her to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem.
Yossi Kpif, Avi Sofer and Moshe Forsdam, United Hatzalah paramedics: "The girl suffered a head injury as a result of being hit by a bus. We provided her with initial medical aid at the scene of the accident and then she was taken to the hospital for further treatment, at which point her condition is described as serious.
""United Hatzalah's resilience teams (mental first aid unit) were operating at the scene due to the nature of the event.".
