Because of a chain accident: Highway 446 from Modi'in Illit towards the Shilat junction was closed to traffic this evening (Saturday night) due to a traffic accident involving 5 vehicles near the Hashmonaim junction.
15 people with moderate and minor injuries were evacuated from the scene.
United Hatzalah medical teams that were called to the scene provided medical assistance at the scene of the accident to the injured - who were taken to a hospital.

Benny Kortzer, Yossi Neugerschel and Yochanan Brand, United Hatzalah paramedics: "This is an accident involving five vehicles. We provided initial medical treatment at the scene to four victims in moderate condition and eleven additional victims in mild condition.".
