Eight people were killed early Monday morning in direct hits in Haifa, Petah Tikva and Bnei Brak. 95 were injured.
The IDF says that in the barrage fired at 4:00 a.m., approximately 40 missiles were launched towards the State of Israel.

According to an initial investigation by the Home Front Command, two of those murdered in Petah Tikva were inside a military barracks. The missile hit between two military barracks in the building.
Another person was apparently murdered after being on the floor above the impact site, and the fourth victim was killed in a nearby building, apparently as a result of the intense impact.
The Home Front Command repeatedly emphasizes that mortars provide effective protection against shrapnel and shrapnel - but are not immune to direct damage. Despite this, the other residents of the building who were in the mortars were saved.

Ruth, a resident of Bnei Brak, a tenant of the damaged building, told Here News: "I didn't have time to get to the fire department. The house is completely destroyed, everything is glass.".
On the neighbor who was killed in the attack: "We've known each other for years, he was a good person.".
In recent days, Home Front Command forces have been operating at crash sites across the country, shoulder to shoulder with emergency organizations and local authorities.
