An IDF reserve soldier from Battalion 9221 of the Ephraim Brigade was seriously injured earlier today (Wednesday) - as a result of an explosive device explosion, during an operational activity in the village of Beta in Samaria.
According to a statement from the IDF spokesman, the wounded soldier was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. His family has been updated on his condition.
Following the incident, the IDF imposed a cordon on the village of Beta, and IDF forces are currently operating in the area in an attempt to locate the terrorists responsible for planting the bomb.
