Immigration authorities in the United States have deported a Lebanese doctor who lectured at Brown University on a US visa after photos and videos praising senior figures in the terrorist organization Hezbollah were discovered on her phone.
According to a report today (Monday) on the Politico website, the doctor told immigration inspectors that she attended the funeral of the organization's former leader, Hassan Nasrallah, and that she supported him religiously - but not politically.
Earlier this month, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced that President Donald Trump's administration would work to revoke visas and permanent residence permits - green cards - from "Hamas supporters" in the United States, in order to enable their deportation from the country.
