Chabad followers in the city of Bnei Brak: Educator Rabbi Uri Mordechai Lipsch zt"l

In Bnei Brak, Rabbi Uri Mordechai Lipsch, a veteran educator who served in a number of educational positions, in addition to his Torah mission in the city of Bnei Brak, where he was involved in distributing Chabad Hasidic resources to the city's residents, passed away on Purim at the age of 58 - after a serious illness.

The late Rabbi Zacharias was born in Kfar Chabad on the 20th of Elul, 1966, to his father, Rabbi Elazar Lipsch Zacharias, and his mother, Mrs. Rivka.

As a child, he studied Talmud Torah in Kfar Chabad, and continued his studies in a small yeshiva in Lod. From his childhood, he studied persistently and diligently, serving as a good example to all his peers.

He studied in the large yeshiva at Kfar Chabad, and then went for a 'group' year at the Tomchei Temimim yeshiva at the Chabad World Center - 770. .

After seeking the blessing of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, he remained to continue his studies in 770 for three more years, during which he was ordained to teach by the Rosh Yeshiva, the late Rabbi Mordechai Mentelik.

Upon reaching his peak, he married his wife, Mrs. Sarah Shifra, daughter of Rabbi Moshe Shmuel Shmelka Segal, and they settled in Bnei Brak.

After his marriage, he was appointed as an educator at the Talmud Torah in Bnei Brak, a position he held for eight years. He then moved to the Talmud Torah Emet in Jerusalem, and from there he served as a Maggid for the third grade of the Bangla class at the Tomchei Temimim Yeshiva in Kiryat Shmuel, and was responsible for the studies of the Bangla in the yeshiva and the admission of young men.

Starting in the 2012 school year, he served as a seventh-grade teacher at Talmud Torah in Kfar Chabad.

In addition to his work in the field of education with children and youth, he gave regular classes at the evening kollel for Hasidism in Shikun Ha-Ha in the city of Bnei Brak, and classes for women at the 'Or Hasidism' institute.

He utilized his many skills and extensive knowledge to hold conversations about studying Hasidism with the residents of Bnei Brak, and became an enlightened Hasidic figure who influenced many.

In parallel with his extensive involvement in education, he continued his studies in rabbinical studies and jurisprudence, and received a certificate of competency from the Chief Rabbinate, and a certificate of 'rabbinical advocate'.

He also served as rabbi and masfia at the Chabad synagogue in Kiryat Herzog in Bnei Brak.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Shifra, and his children:
