Fighters from the YAM, Duvdevan Unit, Shin Bet, and Border Guard fighters operated last night (Tuesday) in Qabtia and Jenin as part of Operation 'Iron Wall' to thwart terrorism in northern Samaria.

During the operation, the YAM fighters encountered a number of armed terrorists who had barricaded themselves in a building in Jenin.

After an exchange of fire, the forces killed two terrorists and wounded another.
At the same time, the forces arrested ten additional terrorists, including Liwa Jaaz, a senior member of the terrorist organization in the Jenin area.
In another operation in the city, fighters from the Duvdevan unit killed a terrorist who opened fire on them.
Security forces located two booby-trapped vehicles in Jenin that contained weapons and were intended to carry out terrorist attacks. The vehicles were destroyed on the spot by the forces.
The arrested terrorists and the confiscated weapons were transferred for further investigation and handling by the security forces.
There are no casualties among our forces.
