''Otzma' launched an outdoor campaign against the Attorney General: "The Legal Seamstress"'

The Otzma Yehudit party launched an extensive outdoor campaign this morning (Thursday) against the Attorney General, Attorney Gali Baharav Mayara - under the title "The Legal Seamstress of the Government." The campaign was launched following a series of confrontations between the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben-Gvir, and the Attorney General, who in recent weeks has blocked a series of initiatives he led, and against the backdrop of what Otzma Yehudit defines as "political investigations led by the Attorney General against those close to Minister Ben-Gvir," culminating in the investigation of Prison Service Commissioner Kobi Yaakovi and the Commander of the Israeli Security Service, Avishai Mualem. Otzma Yehudit claims that "the Attorney General is acting in a biased manner against the policy of the elected government, while ignoring the will of the voters." The campaign joins the moves being led by the government to fire the ombudsman. Meanwhile, in an interview this morning with Hila Korach and Yair Sharki on Gali Tzahal, Minister Ben Gvir said: "Officers who do not follow my policy are not promoted, only in a banana republic the police are not obligated to the political echelon.".
