The decision could lead to increased bureaucracy and delays in projects essential to the development of the region." According to him, "the north needs focus, growth levers, and resources to reduce the gaps and achieve its inherent potential. After the farce of appointing unnecessary project managers for the north, which failed miserably, it was appropriate and necessary to strengthen the Ministry of the Negev and Galilee with the authorities for the development of the Galilee and the Negev as the official project manager." The minister opposed yesterday in a telephone vote held among government ministers to transfer the Tekoma Directorate and the Northern Directorate to Ze'ev Elkin.
