Netanyahu to Shin Bet fighters: Your daring operations raised the Israel Fund

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived today (Thursday) to visit the Shin Bet's Special Operations Unit, along with Shin Bet Chief Ronen Bar, the Prime Minister's Military Secretary Major General Roman Goffman, Deputy Shin Bet Chief and Head of the Operations Division.

During the visit, the Prime Minister was presented with the sequence of operations initiated by the Shin Bet operational unit, including the operations to rescue the hostages: Uri Magidish, Luis Herr, and Fernando Merman. 'Operation Arnon' was also presented, in which the four hostages were rescued: Andrei, Shlomi, Almog, and Noa.

The Prime Minister was also presented with the operations to recover the bodies of those kidnapped from the Gaza Strip and the activities of the Shin Bet in various sectors, including the significant treatments carried out in Judea and Samaria recently.

As part of his visit, the Prime Minister met with the fighters of the Shin Bet's operational unit, who took part in 'Operation Arnon'.

The Prime Minister told the Shin Bet fighters: "I am here with courageous fighters, who come from all parts of Israeli society, and who made the impossible possible. You took part in many courageous operations, which raised the profile of the State of Israel, rescued hostages and gave us the confidence that we can complete our missions.".

""We will not leave the Gaza Strip until we return all our hostages - both living and dead. We are carrying out this mission and many other missions, for which silence is currently appropriate, with your help.".

""I came to say thank you on behalf of all the citizens of Israel. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your heroism, for your sacrifice, for your intelligence and for your courage - thank you very much.".
