The IDF today (Sunday) authorized the publication of the name of Sergeant Bezalel Zvi Kovacs, who fell after being wounded last week in IDF activity in Beit Hanun. The number of IDF casualties since the beginning of the war is 635 soldiers.
Sergeant Bezalel Zvi Kovacs, 20, from Jerusalem, a fighter in the Netzah Yehuda Battalion in the Kfir Brigade, died of his wounds after being seriously injured on May 22 in the battle in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.
Kovacs, a graduate of the Haredi Hesder Yeshiva "Betzva", was critically injured and taken to a hospital, but several days later the doctors were forced to pronounce him dead.

His funeral will be held tonight at 6:30 PM, at Har Hamenuchot Givat Shaul in Jerusalem.
