Chef Elimelech Levin with a recipe for beet salad that will be a stunning addition to any festive meal • Healthy, delicious and easy to prepare
Ingredients:
4 large beets, washed and peeled
4 tablespoons olive oil
salt
Ground black pepper
2 oranges, diced or sliced
3 tablespoons dissolved sugar
4 tablespoons candied pecans
How to prepare:
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Prepare 4 sheets of aluminum foil, each 30 cm long. In the center of each sheet, place a peeled beet and season with a tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Wrap and place in a baking dish.
- Bake for an hour and a half until the beets are soft. Cool, peel, core, and slice the beets into thin slices.
- Mix the beet slices in a bowl with the oranges, sugar, and pecans. Taste and season with salt and pepper.
