Tens of thousands of people, from all walks of life and denominations, participated this evening (Thursday) in the historic conference in the city of Beit Shemesh, led by the great men of Israel, for the victory of the leading candidate for mayor of Beit Shemesh, Shmuel Greenberg.

The conference was attended by Maran Rosh Yeshiva, the Gra"d Lando, the Grama Hirsch, the Rosh Yeshiva of Gur, the Gra"sh Alter, the Gaon Rabbi Yitzhak Ezrachi of the heads of the Mir Yeshiva, the Rosh Yeshiva of Hebron, the Gaon Rabbi David Cohen, and all the rabbis of the city of Beit Shemesh.

The emergency rally opened with the recitation of Psalms for peace among Israel, for the release of the kidnapped, and for the success of the campaign against Israel's enemies, with all members of the city council, and candidates from the Lithuanian and Hasidic communities - Degel Hatorah and Kaach - participating in the event.

The first speaker was the rabbi Mordechai Goldstein, one of the prominent rabbis of Beit Shemesh, who said: "He who points as the great men of the generation say, is not only a kosher mitzvah - but a real mitzvah - the rabbi Baruch Ber, explained the verse 'Leh, leh from your land and from your homeland and from your father's house.' Every step and every step - is a real mitzvah. Walking with our rabbis, the great men of the generation, is fulfilling the mitzvah itself.".

After the speeches by Degel Hatorah Chairman Moshe Gafni and Deputy Minister Uri Maklev - the candidate for mayor of Beit Shemesh, Shmuel Greenberg, gave a speech and received great encouragement from the audience during his speech. "He is both a Haredi public emissary and a public emissary. He acts as a true emissary both in the emissary of the public that elected him and by the power of the great men of the generation who appointed him to be an emissary to the public," Greenberg said.

The crowd then burst into song, "Days upon Days of a King" and "Let Us Travel in His Light," as the great men of Israel ascended the stage of honor. For long minutes, the crowd stood and applauded.

Maran HaGar"d Lando spoke strongly about the obligation to vote for candidate Shmuel Greenberg: "After much thought, it was decided that Rabbi Shmuel Greenberg is the most deserving person for this. To take care of the needs of Torah and Judaism. God forbid, if we do not act as we are obligated to do now, there is a fear that Beit Shemesh will fall into the hands of those who can breach the walls of religion. And for this reason, it is obligatory to vote for Rabbi Shmuel Greenberg.".

Rabbi Hirsch reinforced Rabbi Lando's words and said: "This vote comes from the power of what God wants. The answer is clear, as the head of the yeshiva (Rabbi Lando) said, to vote for Rabbi Shmuel Greenberg for mayor, and for Deghel for city council.".

The head yeshiva of Gur, Rabbi Alter, said: "The head yeshivahs who are sitting here, every minute is important for them. If they gave their important minutes, it should awaken us and make us understand that we need to vote for Shmuel Greenberg and we will see great news.".

The gaon Rabbi Yitzhak Ezrachi, one of the heads of the Mir Yeshiva, said: "We were told to vote for Rabbi Shmuel Greenberg. We know him, he studied at the Mir Yeshiva kollel. But we vote not because we know him, but because the great men of Israel said he would succeed.".
