Since the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, Kolel Chabad has been operating an unceasing charity program, for the benefit of residents of the surrounding area and residents of the South in general.

Recently, residents of cities in the south were informed of another phase in the aid system.

Residents from the Ofakim, Ashkelon municipalities, Ma'ale Yosef Regional Council, Ma'alot Tarchisha, Netivot and Sdot Negev Regional Council - and staying in one of the following cities: Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Herzliya, Lod, Modi'in Illit, Netanya, Petah Tikva, Rishon LeZion and Tel Aviv, will be able to receive assistance in the following tracks: a daily meat lunch in the kosher Badatz Eda Haredi - in Bnei Brak in the kosher of Rabbi Landa, and a ticket to buy food products with a symbolic deductible.

Alongside the 'Kollel', Levi and Olga Leviev, as well as the Jewish Federations of North America, joined the special project.

The scope of the aid since it began about two weeks ago is two million shekels.

The assistance, as mentioned, is only provided to residents who were not evacuated at the state's expense, but who evacuated independently.

Since the project was launched, the Kollel has been providing thousands of meals to the families of the evacuees every day. In Bnei Brak alone, about a thousand meals are provided every day. All this, alongside the provision of many purchase cards, which constitute a real lifeline for the evacuees in their daily lives.

""Every day, the extent of the demand for assistance from residents of the south is revealed, and we are doing everything in our power to provide maximum response," say Rabbi Shalom Duchman and Rabbi Mandi Blau from the Kollel management.
