Minister of Social Affairs Yaakov Margi met today (Monday) with the person in charge of the issue of kidnapped and missing persons, Brigadier General (res.) Gal Hirsch.
At the meeting, we discussed the social assistance package provided by the Ministry of Social Affairs to the families of the kidnapped and missing, and the bill approved by the Knesset to recognize the families of the kidnapped and missing, which will provide the families with a package of financial and therapeutic assistance.
Minister Margi: "I thank Brigadier General Gal Hirsch for the tremendous efforts he is making to return the kidnapped and missing and for his concern for their families. We at the Ministry of Social Affairs provide families with a social assistance package to help them even a little in their difficult time, when they expect and hope for the safe return of their loved ones home.".

The person in charge of the issue of the kidnapped and missing, Brigadier General (res.) Gal Hirsch, thanked Minister Margi and the Ministry of Social Affairs staff for their work on behalf of the families, as well as all the parties that promoted the law of recognition and economic assistance to family members, and said: "We will continue to work around the clock to return all the kidnapped and missing people home. We will do everything to make it easier for their families in their most difficult time.".
