Maj. Gen. (res.) Yinon Fleishman, 31, from Jerusalem, an armored fighter in the 71st Battalion, Barak Formation, was killed yesterday (Sunday) as a result of a tank overturning in northern Israel.
An IDF reserve officer and a reserve soldier were seriously injured in the incident.
The families of the fighters were updated.

The injured were evacuated to a hospital for medical treatment.
The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
The Efrat local council issued a statement of mourning, which read: "With great sadness, we learned last night of the death of the late Yinon Fleishman. Yinon fell while performing his duties on the northern border. He is survived by his beloved wife Noa, his little son Ziv, his parents, Benny and Michal from the HaGefen neighborhood, and his siblings Daniel, Avishai, Rachel, Shlomit and Shiloh. Condolences to the entire extended Fleishman family.".
The funeral of the late Fleishman will take place at noon on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
