A 32-year-old man from Bnei Brak was arrested yesterday morning for questioning on suspicion of driving with a license belonging to a person who died many years ago.

The suspect was brought this morning (Sunday) for a hearing at the Bat Yam Traffic Court.

The driver was arrested during an enforcement activity conducted by the Dan District Traffic Team on Jabotinsky Street in Bnei Brak, when a routine check of the driver's licenses revealed that the suspect had never issued a driver's license, and that the temporary driver's license number, which appears on the document he presented, actually belongs to another person who died many years ago.
