Four girls aged 15-17 were detained yesterday (Sunday) for questioning on suspicion of using violence and robbing a counselor at a daycare center where they were staying near Jerusalem - and then fleeing the scene.
The delay was made after a report was received by the police early yesterday morning that the daycare staff heard shouting from one of the rooms, went there and noticed one of the counselors tied to a chair inside the room.
The four girls allegedly brought the instructor into the room, where they tied her to a fixed ladder with a rope and gagged her, took her cell phone and a bunch of keys from her, and then fled, not before locking the door to the room with the instructor tied to a chair.

Immediately upon receiving the report, police forces, led by the Moriah Police Station's youth division, began searching for the suspects, along with various investigative activities in cooperation with other police districts.
Last night, late in the evening, patrol officers from the Rishon LeZion police station located two of the suspects near a residential building in the city and they were taken for questioning to the Moriah police station in the Jerusalem District.
A few hours later, two more suspects showed up at the police station and turned themselves in, accompanied by the mother of one of them.
The four teenage suspects were questioned on suspicion of false imprisonment, robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, and violation of a lawful order.
During the day, they will be brought before the court for a hearing on their case.
