Natural eggplant with grilled onions

Materials:

  • 1 juicy, fat, grilled, and drained eggplant
  • 2 well-grilled onions
  • 2 thyme sprigs, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Juice from half a lemon
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper

The preparation:

Cut the eggplant into coarse pieces, cut the roasted onions into coarse pieces, mix with the other ingredients and serve hot.

Apple Knafe

Real knafe, only instead of cheese, fresh apples are grated, baked on a grilled iron pan.

 Ingredients for a medium frying pan, diameter "22":

  • 300 g Kadayif noodles
  • 4 Grand Smith apples
  • A spoonful of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons raisins
  • Half a teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 100 g melted butter

For the syrup:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • A glass and a half of water
  • Cinnamon stick
  • 2 slices of lemon
  • A slice of orange
  • 2 star anise

Preparation:

• Grease a cast iron pan with butter.

• Spread a layer of kadaiif noodles half a cm thick

• Grease lightly with butter

• Grate the apples, mix with the rest of the ingredients, and pour over the kadaiif.

• Cover with another layer, grease with butter.

• Place on the grill for slow and gentle grilling

• Prepare another identical pan, after 6 minutes turn to the other side of the additional pan, bake on the grill for another 5 minutes, pour a glass of syrup over it and serve hot. .

Maple-roasted pineapple

Fresh, sour pineapple with a sweet maple aroma.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large fresh pineapple
  • 4 tablespoons of high-quality maple syrup

Preparation:

• Peel the pineapple and cut into 1 cm thick slices.

• Grill on a clean grill grate for about 2 minutes on each side and brush with maple syrup.

• Serve with lemon and mint sorbet

Italian chicken breast with mustard, herbs and white wine

Ingredients for 4 servings:

 2 halved chicken breast fillets, boneless and cartilage-free

  • For the job
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard, whole grains
  • A sprig of rosemary, crumbled
  • 6 whole basil leaves
  • 2 thyme sprigs, crumbled
  • Half a glass of white wine
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • Coarse salt and ground black pepper

Preparation:

• Mix the marinade ingredients, marinate the chicken breast overnight

• Drain and grill for about 3 minutes on each side.

• Serve over a bed of pasta or grilled vegetables.
