
An exciting event took place today (Monday) in the ultra-Orthodox Ganei Ayalon neighborhood in Lod, on the occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony for a magnificent and impressive women's center, construction of which will begin soon for the benefit of the neighborhood's residents.

The event was honored with their presence by: the rabbi of Lod – the rabbi Shimon Meir Biton, the rabbi Avraham Broida, the rabbi Yaakov Lando, MK Meir Porush, Mayor Elad Yisrael Porush, Lod Mayor Yair Revivo, Deputy Mayor Gil Hadad, Municipality Director General Aharon Atias, and City Council member and Haredi and Welfare Commissioner Meir Assulin.
Lod Mayor Yair Revivo said at the ceremony: "At a good hour, we are privileged to reach the long-awaited moment, on the holiday of Tu B'Shavat, and lay the foundations for the building that the residents of Ganei Ayalon have been waiting for, which will contain one of the most magnificent purification baths in Israel.".

The giant center will have a purification bath, treatment rooms, a spa, and more.
Behind the initiative are rabbis and residents of the neighborhood, members of the 'Bnei Yerushalayim – Ahisamach' association.
The building is being donated by a generous man from the United States, who raised millions of shekels in financial donations for the repose of his daughter, who died young. He came with his children to honor the event.
The building was designed by the Dror Barber architectural firm, one of the largest and most professional in the field of mikvahs in Israel.
