During his historic visit to Abu Dhabi, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett was invited by the Rabbi to the United Arab Emirates, Chabad emissary Rabbi Levi Duchman, to write the first letter of the Torah scroll written on Emirati soil.
The Torah scroll is intended to serve the local Jewish community and the many Jewish visitors, who enjoy a range of Jewish institutions and extensive community services, led by Rabbi Duchman since 2015.
Jewish activity is carried out with notable cooperation from the Emirati government.
