The beloved singer and songwriter Yishai Ribo and his wife Yael had their first daughter tonight (Wednesday) - joining her three older siblings.
Thus, Ribo became a father of four.
Three months ago, Ribo announced, during a performance in Caesarea, that he and his wife were expecting a fourth child.
The Ribo couple were admitted late at night to Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center and shortly after, the labor process began, ending with the exciting birth. The baby was born weighing 2.995 kg at 3:08 a.m.
Singer Ribo, who entertained the birth process with singing, said that the powerful birth process is a miraculous event that greatly inspired the writing of two of his well-known songs, "Tocho Retsuf Ahava" and "Mekshacha Hachat Zahav.".
On his Facebook account, Yishai wrote this morning: "Chesed Shalem! Towards the end of the night we were able to hug a sweet and beloved daughter for the first time. Thank you to my Yael, my heroine who managed this difficult birth with dedication. You are an inspiration!
Thank you to the dedicated team of Shaarei Tzedek, we felt the professionalism and especially the warm and caring heart. And thank you for the love and blessings and the hugs you send us from every direction.
May you all soon embrace your own abundance in every field and interest.
""And thank the Lord of the world for all the grace and free gifts that are so precious.".
The midwifery team at Shaare Tzedek said that this is not the couple's first birth that they have accompanied. "It is nice to accompany parents through the birth process more than once, each time the experience is completely different and we are happy to support such a special stage in the family building process. We wish the couple health and much joy from the children.".
