""This morning I woke up to a burglar in my room while I was sleeping. It was very scary, but apparently nothing was taken," Sharkey said on his personal Twitter account.
""I called 100 and patrol officers arrived within minutes, and after a little over an hour they arrested a suspect whose description matched what I had provided and what a neighbor in a nearby building described, who had been visited a few minutes before me.".
He added: "I was invited to file a complaint at the station and later this morning a police officer arrived who took security cameras from the area, and a police officer who collected findings. Thank you to the police officers in the heart of the capital for their professional, serious and courteous treatment - although nothing was stolen from me (others probably were), the experience was unpleasant and such determined treatment restores the sense of security.".
He later emphasized: "To anyone who asks or hints at VIP treatment: I called the 100 hotline and received treatment through them. Without a last name and without an identity number that they only took from me later. Apparently at some point one of them knew me, but the treatment was serious from the first minute.".
