The left-wing government and the decrees on the ultra-Orthodox public: The Council of Torah Scholars of Degel HaTorah is publishing a special call for papers on the cover of the Yated Ne'eman magazine this morning (Friday) - under the title: "Who is to me?".

The call states: "Whose heart will not tremble at home, and those far from Torah and commandments have raised their heads, and want to uproot everything holy and precious to Israel, and to harm the purity of Israel and its holy places, and to abolish the study of Torah, the observance of Shabbat, and the education and training of foreigners according to Halacha. And a great danger looms over the maintenance of the foundations of the Holy Torah in the Holy Land.".

The council members refer to Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman's 'daycare decree' - and write: "And already these days they are declaring their desire to restrict the steps of the Abrahimi who include the precious labors of the Torah, whose righteous wives dedicate themselves to making their home a house of Torah in the purity of the Holy Land, and they imagine in their hearts that by their decrees they will prevent them from having budgets for their precious children, "sheikhi," they will prevent them from sitting in the tent of the Torah, although they will not be able to do anything.".

The rabbis add: "Woe to us that this has arisen in our day, and how we must regret the desecration of His name, blessed be He, and we are obligated to strengthen ourselves greatly in the perseverance of Torah study, and in the relationship between man and his fellow man, and to pour out our hearts like water in prayer and cry that the glory of God may increase in the world, and that our erring brothers may be restored to complete repentance, and not stumble in the arbitrariness of their hearts, G-d.".

After they strengthen the hands of the MKs who "are always gathering advice and ways to prevent and overturn the decrees" - the rabbis warn:

"One should not cooperate with government officials, and even less so one should not be appointed to any position with them, such as 'advisors' of any kind. Even local authorities, as well as owners of institutions and the like, who are required to contact government ministries for the purpose of routine existence, should do so only after consulting and asking a wise person, and even then one should only fulfill the necessity that does not belong to him, and in any case, with any question that arises, one should consult and ask a wise person, and one should not learn halakha from an act or a similar question, but each time one should ask and consult again, and the more advice, the more wisdom.".

As reported in Haredim 10, upon the formation of the government, the leaders of the Haredi parties summoned the publishers of the Haredi media outlets, demanding that they not give a platform to representatives of the regime of destruction and not cooperate with 'Haredi advisors.'.

Council members also come out against 'ultra-Orthodox state' institutions and warn: "God forbid that 'religious state' frameworks be established, and so on, in any name and denomination.".
