At the end of 2020, the number of people living in Israel recognized by the Holocaust Survivors' Rights Authority was approximately 180,000 people.

In preparation for Holocaust Remembrance and Heroism Day 2011, the Holocaust Survivors' Rights Authority today published data indicating that approximately 174,500 Holocaust survivors and victims of anti-Semitic harassment during the Holocaust are currently living in Israel.

In the past year, 14,264 survivors died – an average of about 41 per day.

The average age of Holocaust survivors is 84.5. 18% of them, about 31 thousand, are over the age of 90, and more than 900 are over the age of 100.

About 19,200 are Jews of Baghdad who were exposed to the Farhud riots in Iraq in mid-1941.
